Rosati; tested as MDUS 4839. <b>Fruit:</b> large to very large; uniform in symmetry; skin firm, deep glossy scarlet; flesh soft medium, medium red; sweet, juicy, aromatic; tolerant to gray mold and leather rot. Ripens after Allstar, with Delite and Rosanne. Plants: runner freely; medium size; marketable yields very high, like those of Lester. Very resistant to most races of red stele; resistant to verticillium wilt; tolerant to leaf spot and leaf scorch; susceptible to anthracnose leaf blight, and powdery mildew. Flowers late with Allstar and Guardian.
