A high yielding, late ripening strawberry. Orig. in Cesna, Italy, by the Italian Univ. Breeding program. Sel. 79-12-13 × Etna; tested as 84-86-3. Patent pending. <b>Fruit:</b> large; moderately firm; light red exterior and interior color; good fresh flavor; fair to good freezing quality. <b>Plant:</b> short-day type; high yield; vigorous; performs well on nonfumigated soils. Tolerant to anthracnose; some resistance to red stele causal organism.
