Moore; selected in 1969; tested as Ark. 5744. <b>Fruit:</b> large; slightly necked; skin very glossy, dry, attractive; flesh medium red throughout, firm, quality good both fresh and frozen; calyx easily removed in processing; ascorbic acid averages 50 mg/100 g fresh weight; ripens midseason. <b>Plant:</b> vigorous; very productive; prolific plant producer; high yield of usable fruit in one picking by mechanical harvest; resistant to leaf spot, leaf scorch, and powdery mildew; tolerant of two-spotted spider mite; may have wide adaptation in eastern U.S., recommended for trial from Maryland and southward and west to Texas.
