Orig. in Eau Claire, Wis., by C.H. Beaver. Introd. in 1925. Considered to be Dr. Burrill × Howard 17; selected about 1921. <b>Fruit:</b> quality only fair; ships very well. <b>Plant:</b> hardy; very productive; well adapted to light, sandy soils. Not to be confused with the Beaver variety of unknown parentage found about 1901 by J.F. Beaver, Dayton, Ohio and introduced commercially in 1906.
