Orig. in Riverside, Calif., by Howard B. Frost, California Citrus Expt. Sta. Described in 1943. Not introduced commercially; propagated on a small scale in Coachella Valley of California. King tangor × Willowleaf mandarin. <b>Fruit:</b> small; rind orange; pulp deep orange, flavor exceptionally sweet and rich; seedy; resembles Willowleaf; ripens early. <b>Tree:</b> vigorous; extremely alternate bearer. Value of variety is for breeding purposes.
