Probably McIntosh o.p.; first fruited in 1918; tested as Minn. 396. <b>Fruit:</b> holds well on tree; flesh and skin not as tender as McIntosh, which it resembles; skin medium red; flesh white, fine-grained, juicy, aromatic; for dessert purposes. <b>Tree:</b> spreading, vigorous, productive. Susceptible to fire blight in Manitoba.
