F2 (Calville St. Sauveur × unnamed local seedling); cross made in 1939; selected in 1947. <b>Fruit:</b> small, averaging about 100 g; conic; skin splashed with red; flesh sprightly; ripens early, end of May; soft and does not transport well; for local market. <b>Tree:</b> chilling requirement very slight, suitable for subtropical conditions; must be grown on strong rootstock; self-fruitful; sets practically every flower and must be heavily thinned to obtain commercial size.
