Bud mutation of Dougherty; selected in 1928. <b>Fruit:</b> identical to Dougherty except for brilliant scarlet coloration over whole fruit; very sweet, but lacking in character; texture is hard without being crisp; storage quality excellent. <b>Tree:</b> identical to Dougherty; more suited to warm climates.
