Yellow Transparent × McIntosh; seed planted in 1909; first crop produced in 1918. <b>Fruit:</b> resembles McIntosh but is less aromatic and more sprightly; ripens in mid­August; flavor excellent; good for home and local markets. <b>Tree:</b> vigorous; productive; biennial in habit, tendency toward small size unless thinned very early.
