Conard × Delicious; cross made in 1916; selected in 1929; tested as A-1286. <b>Fruit:</b> size medium when not thinned; shaped like Chenango, elongated, conical; skin light to dark red over yellow; flesh fine-grained, juicy, good flavor; ripens about 10 days before Delicious; keeps well in storage; resembles Delicious. <b>Tree:</b> dwarf to semi-dwarf, branches drooping; for close planting and home orchards.
